A New Record For Mort

Since acquiring our chickens, the record for the largest egg has been held by one of our original girls. Mort who is by far the biggest of our hens shocked us all today by producing an even bigger egg than normal - this one weighed in at a whopping 97g ! As the saying goes a picture is worth a thousand words so I will give you two pictures and you can compare Mort's giant egg with our regular ones:
